INTRODUCTION

J. J. White Products, Inc. has been a supplier of liner materials and specialty chemicals to the rubber industry since the early 1920's. In the 1960's and 1970's, as "plastic" liners began to achieve a large portion of the liner business, J. J. White expanded their textile coating operation to include the application of "solventless" adhesion promoting systems.

Custom formulated release agents for the rubber industry have been specialty products produced by J. J. White for many years. Several slab dip formulations are in our product line along with processing aids, specialty soaps and mold release agents.

Many new products, tailored to the rubber industry, have been added to our product mix over the recent years. Our technical staff has seized many new opportunities over the past decade for meeting specific requirements such as replacement of hazardous chemicals and low flash solvents with ingredients considered more biodegradable and friendlier toward the environment.

Our continued focus is to custom formulate unique products, solving problem areas for our customers.

Our staff is readily available to answer any questions you may have. For assistance, feel free to contact us toll free at 1-800-367-9448, Ext. 12 for sales and customer service and Ext. 19 or 22 for technical information.

Quality Control

The quality of our treatments and specialty chemicals, together with the satisfaction our customers derive, as well as being able to handle specific customer requests is of the utmost concern to us. All production treatment runs as well as the manufacture of finished products are under strict quality control management - all specialty chemical products will be accompanied by a batch certificate of analysis.

Equipment

Our primary processing unit is a Riggs & Lombard pin tenter frame dryer which enables us to hold the fabric to width during treatment and, if necessary, control uniform shrinkage or stretching within a 2-inch differential dependant upon the type of fabric. In addition to width control, we are capable of treating fabrics ranging from 20" to 84" wide achieving temperatures of 300 degrees F. For narrower widths, we slit and overcast the majority of the work.

Pricing and Shipment: Disclaimer

Considering the fact that the rubber industry is subject to a lot of 'black-art' technology, the fatty acid market can go haywire and fabric is a commodity subject to frequent price fluctuations, it is nearly impossible to give a firm quotation. On request however, we will quote a specific order on the basis of treatment with fabric supplied by us or on treatment alone with fabric supplied by the customer. - valid for 60 days. Our usual terms are net 30 days and all orders are shipped F.O.B. Cleveland, Ohio via common carrier unless the customer wishes to make other arrangements for pick up.
